MVTEEA MEETING THIS MONDAY IN SAUQUOIT!

Monday, March 19th, we will be meeting in Sauquoit for a tour of their department.  We will also hear from Chuck Goodwin, head of NYSTEEA's advisory council.  Chuck is recently back from the ITEEA conference in Long Beach.  With the recent adoption of Engineering by Design in New York, the NYSTEEA Conference approaching, and lots more going on at NYSTEEA, I am sure he has a lot to say.    Please consider joining us?  This will be a shorter meeting than most since the tour, dinner, and meeting will all be in one place.  We will start at 4pm at Sauquoit High School (2601 Oneida Street, Sauquoit, NY 13456). We will have pizza and drinks...free for members and $5 for non members.  As always, we have things to give away.

Directions:

Take Route 8 and turn onto Oneida Street (turn right if heading south, left if heading north).
Head down Oneida Street approximately 500 feet and you will see the high school on your left.  Enter main doors of the High School and turn left immediately.  Room 124 will be on your left toward the end of the hallway.

Engineering by Design Coming to New York

The link above is the announcement by NYSTEEA that Engineering by Design is coming to New York.  Please read this as it could have a great impact on our curriculums.  Training for this new curriculum will be taking place at OHM BOCES in New Hartford at the end of June.  This is where training will take place for teachers from all over the state...so this could be a great opportunity for everyone!
